Business Storytelling - Just a Trace

Last Updated 8/28/2024

Just a Trace opened on October 2, 2002 and is owned by Tracey Welp.

The home in which our store is located in was built in 1928 and for years it was used as rental property with an apartment both upstairs and downstairs. Lots of customers have come in the store and said they used to live there!

When asked what makes the establishment unique, Tracey said “We are off the beaten path in an older 2 story home and I think that is what makes us unique. Those visiting for the first time are wide-eyed and amazed when they walk in and realize there is something wonderful to see around every corner! It is our pleasure to help you find the perfect gift for the age you are looking for, while keeping in your requested budget, and of course the gift wrapping is always free! We truly have something for every age!”

Owning a toy store for the last 21 years has made Tracey realize that you are never to old to play! Most important to her over the years has been selling more and more games to families and getting such positive feedback on how much fun and meaningful conversations they had playing those games...no electronic devices needed!!!!
